One of the benefits of living at The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas is its luxury auto club. When founder, Frank Napoli moved into The Mandarin Oriental, he noticed a vast array of luxury cars ranging from Lamborghinis, Ferrari’s and restored classic vehicles. Being a car enthusiast, Napoli recalled,
“A lot of these amazing cars were sitting under covers, covered in dust and barely driven.”
Napoli, who is a Las Vegas native and local luxury Realtor with Napoli Group at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, never imagined he would live on the strip. When he got an offer, he could not refuse on his house; he packed his things and decided to move into The Residences at Mandarin Oriental. “I looked at other high-rises, but I was impressed by the level of quality and exceptional staff here. High-rise life at the Mandarin is a luxury experience, it’s an exhilarating adventure for me.”
Furthermore, Napoli wanted to get to know his neighbors first hand. When he saw luxury, cars lined up at valet, he knew his passion for cars was shared amongst his neighbors. Napoli thought, “What a great way to get my neighbors involved, meet and share our common love of cars. Mandarin supported my idea and the auto club was born.”
The auto club meets up once a month over cars and coffee. It is open to Mandarin Oriental residents and their guests. At each meeting the club tours out with their cars and stops by to support a local business or supports local charities like Three Square Food Bank, Saint Jude, and Children of The Department of Family Services to name a few.
Napoli, who owns a few cars of his own loves classic cars the most. He notes, “I like cars you can’t buy. My favorite, is my 1969 Camaro with 775 horsepower, completely restored with modern day technology.”
Since its launch the group has gained a lot of momentum, and the attention of both media and support of local businesses throughout the city, and continues to flourish. Napoli points out that, “The Mandarin Auto Club has built powerful relationships and helped the community at large.”
Exotic cars and coffee… What a treat that is for the car aficionado!
