Heidi gives us valuable insight in our exclusive interview.
Q: Can you tell us a little about your background?
I’m originally from the Philippines. I was born in Manila and grew up in the city of Batangas in the Luzon Region. In September 1985, my family moved to the United States and we settled in the San Francisco Bay Area in the city of Fremont. I moved to Las Vegas in 2004 and it’s been my home ever since.
Q: How did you get involved with real estate?
My real estate interests began in California. Before I moved to Las Vegas, I had bought and sold my own properties in the Bay Area. In 2003, I had made an offer to buy a condo in Poipu, Hawaii that got rejected. This turned my interest to Las Vegas when a friend recommended buying into the real estate market.
That’s when my real estate career really got started. I acquired a real estate license and bought my first home in the beginning of 2005. Eleven years later, I opened my own brokerage, LifestyleLV.
Q: Can you tell us about LifestyleLV?
Since the day I became a Realtor I knew I wanted to open my own real estate brokerage. I even hired a marketing team in 2005 to help find a name that suited my practice. In 2007, I registered the name LifestyleLV. I finally opened LifestyleLV as a fully operational real estate brokerage in May 2016.
It’s almost been two years since our launch. I’m very proud of what my team and I have been able to accomplish in that time. We are in the Town Square shopping center, south of the Las Vegas Strip. We cater to all areas across the Valley, even the High Rises and other condominium communities. We work with buyers and sellers, and help investors manage their rental properties.
LifestyleLV was founded on several Core Principles, including unparalleled customer service, hard work, perseverance, and honesty. Every agent at LifestyleLV exemplifies these traits; it’s part of being on our team. There’s nothing new to these principles, but when they’re honestly applied, I believe it makes a huge difference in our—or any—business.
Q: What do you think of current real estate market trends?
The Las Vegas real estate market is on the rise and very hot at the moment. Sale prices are going up and so are the rental prices. It’s a great time to be in the business.
Q: Do you think it is a good time to invest in Las Vegas real estate?
I believe that it is a great time to buy in Las Vegas. I pay close attention to our high-rise market. Las Vegas has gorgeous high-rises at prices you couldn’t find in other big cities like San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles.
As far as growth is concerned, there are major projects going on throughout the city that we expect to result in new residents and investors. I’m thinking of the Las Vegas Raiders Stadium and Resorts World, just to name a few.
Q: What do you think has attributed to Lifestyle LV ‘s success?
LifestyleLV has amazing staff who truly enjoy working for the company and serving the people of Las Vegas. Our team feels like family. When LifestyleLV’s team sits down for a meeting, you can usually expect we’ll be having a lot of fun brainstorming marketing strategies and sales pipelines.
Q: How do you feel about Las Vegas’ transformation into a Sports/Entertainment Capital?
I’m thrilled that Las Vegas has become a Sports and Entertainment capital in the U.S. Sports can be good for everyone’s morale— they bring everyone together regardless of political inclination or religious beliefs. Sports bridge social gaps that are otherwise hard to mend.
The Las Vegas Raiders have been under the Las Vegas spotlight. It’s exciting!
Locals and businesses love them. They give generous support to noble causes. I feel fortunate to know the members of the Raiders family and to be working with them through the transition to Las Vegas. The organization has been very gracious to us, and we will take care of them in return.
Q: Can you tell us a little about your involvement in community projects?
I am passionate about participating in community and charity projects. I especially have a soft spot for kids afflicted with cancer. LifestyleLV is collaborating with the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation to raise money that will help kids and their families cope with the cost of battling cancer.
Q: What are some tips you would give to new home buyers?
Start by finding a real estate company or agent who fits your personality, has a track record of success, and who listens to your needs. If you find the right agent, the home search becomes so much simpler. An agent does more than present local listings or take families on house tours. They negotiate to get homebuyers better deals, they introduce new families to their future city and home and give feedback to help families know their options.
I’ve got to say it. If you’re in the market now, call Lifestyle LV! We’ll take care of you.

Q: Any new developments or exciting news you would like to share about LifestyleLV?
The most exciting news from LifestyleLV is that we are growing. LifestyleLV is looking for agents who fit the profile of the core principles I mentioned earlier. We operate as a boutique firm, providing personalized and focused attention to each client. As I alluded to earlier, we are about more than just doing work for work’s sake. Our team incorporates a lot of fun into the job by finding networking events, attending galas, and making sure each meeting is intermingled with some fun.
Q: Can you elaborate on leading a successful predominately women team?
LifestyleLV consists entirely of women agents at the moment, but we are happy to welcome male agents also. We only have one man in our team, Daron Robinson, who is our Marketing Director and Business Developer. I can say that we enjoy the success of the predominantly women brokerage, but we are very thankful for Daron’s leadership in making sure LifestyleLV is not lagging in the Social Media scene and in the latest marketing strategy.
Q: How do you feel as a female role model and as a successful business woman in real estate community?
I am proud of what my team and I have built. From the beginning I wanted to create a personalized, boutique real estate firm that could help families and investors navigate the Vegas real estate market. In that way, LifestyleLV is already a success. I’m excited to watch our team continue to grow and achieve even more.
Q: What would be one career advice you would give to young women in the workplace?
I would advise young women to be themselves. Learn to say “no” and take charge of their careers. Always strive for perfection and for the best. If you want to build a business or achieve a certain position, work hard to achieve it. Success doesn’t come overnight, and it certainly won’t be handed to you. Hard work and diligence pay off, but don’t sacrifice your happiness or beliefs along the way. Once you are “there,” then you’ll have built up the tried and skills to delegate and help others find their own success.
Q: What woman inspires you and why?
Condoleezza Rice is my greatest inspiration as a female entrepreneur. Gender or racial biases did not deter her. She worked hard just like everyone else to achieve success.
I am a woman immigrant, so English was not my first language. I didn’t let those obstacles hinder me. Everyone will hit obstacles along the way to fulfilling their dreams— don’t let anything stop you.
Q: What is leadership to you and what do you think is the most significant barrier to female leadership?
Leadership, to me, begins with hard work and taking brave steps that others can emulate. Leaders offer guidance and lead by example. They also acknowledge the influence of others, being quick to accept blame for themselves and generous to give credit to other people. Leaders bring energy to a group by not pretending to be a one-man-show. Success requires teamwork. That’s why I’ve surrounded myself with my team at LifestyleLV.
