Happy 2019! Hope you had a wonderful holiday season.

Let’s talk bringing spring to your home with the arrival of the soft winter rains.

Your first step on the road to your dream home was deciding in which fabulous high-rise tower you wanted to live…now what?

Making both your inside and outside space say, “This is why I chose this home!”

The latest unique furniture pieces are arriving from market. Your unique style may be in the very next store you happen to stop by and do a browsing run.
I’d like to take this time to look at how you can bring the outdoors in. You probably have a balcony you walk out onto, and gaze out over the city, or your local park. The winter rains are helping the park get ready to sprout new leaves or those colorful flower beds wakeup for a new season.

If you have been reading my articles this past three years you know I love color. Well it’s time to decorate that patio with colorful bushes, plants and your table with gorgeous seat cushions. Cheers to this New Year!

I have a new client who has just jumped from a smaller unit in another tower, to a much larger unit. The style is just not “their style”. This past year they have been diligently working at changing it. Because they have a larger unit, they have a larger balcony to work with.

They have wonderful spaces and have unique tastes. I have shown them some retrospective drawings for some tiered planters, and differing sizes and heights of pots they can begin to landscape their decking with. We don’t want to cut off the beautiful views they have of the country club golf course across the road, but enhance their space with their own trees, and colorful plants.

There are so many ways to decorate your personal terrace. You can bring your personality directly outside, expanding the living spaces you can enjoy. There are lots of pottery outlets in Las Vegas and Southern California where you can shop and start to get an idea how your personality can be reflected in this space. I would invest in a specialist for this area. One who understands the plants that will withstand the climate in your area, as well as design a space that does not impede flowing traffic patterns, but at the same time, works to make the space your special spot. Share the joy of your new home with family and friends. Listen to their comments about what they love about your new space, so you can formulate your design plans for 2019! Take pictures of your surroundings out that beautiful patio looking out onto the world.

Love the adventure you are on, don’t let stress step in your path…Enlist help from a friend who understands your plans for your home. You can have so much more fun when you shop with friends!

This is the start toward your happiest home—have fun.
