Hollywood fashion mavens Joey Tierney and Brittney Cade Dirnt hosted a chic seaside soiree in Newport Beach to toast the launch of Simone Kidd. The luxe fashion label is a collection of pure silk dusters, a timeless wardrobe staple made to fit every vibe and occasion in your wild and beautiful life—from gala to rock concert to summer yacht party. The trunk show event was held at A’maree’s in Newport Beach—where Simone Kidd is exclusively sold—and celebrity guests like The Hills star Audrina Patrdige and Revenge actress Christa B. Allen wore dusters from the Resort 2020 collection. Other notable guests included Green Day’s Mike Dirnt, actor Malcolm McDowell, and featured a live performance by Beckitt Rex.
Designers Tierney and Dirnt also donated 50% of event sales to Tower Cancer Research Foundation’s youth leadership division, Cancer Free Generation. “Enjoying the Ride” is the message embroidered in every Resort 2020 duster, and it’s the perfect motto for the new decade ahead!
